Tuesday

Finished up my Celtic quilt top yesterday, of course still need to quilt it but for now it is stuck to the wall in my room! I really enjoyed this class, I learned a new method of pinning and also a new way to finish off thread when you are doing the quilting ( same as you do when hand quilting) I think that I will be making more of these, mainly as wall quilts as they look good hanging.

The ladies and I are finishing up our fabric postcards tomorrow including French onion soup and dessert. Girls have to eat, might as well be good food!

I mailed it off yesterday. Yeah! Now to see when it gets there. Good thing I am not in a hurry and the POST was only 21 Euro. Perfect!


Off to the dentist again today :-( I received my bill from her this week, GULP guess I will not be vacationing for a while now.


I am meeting the new office lady from E's work today. She is a local person and promises to be of great help in dealing with all things Vienna.

Music

Hey,

Well listening to music makes me home sick. I think because I prefer to listen to Country music and I can't find a radio station here that carries it. So listening to music is something I try and do when I am feeling more positive rather than negative.

BD has an ear infection, I have known this for a while now but was hoping that it would go away on it own. Took him to the Vet today, she has this really cool machine that lets you, the human, see inside the ear. Cool looking. BD now has to have drops put in his ear for a week and then go back to see how the ear looks.

Stopped at the Mail Boxes Etc to see how much it would cost to send my Quit top to Canada to be quilted my my friend Kathy. GULP 170,oo Euro. YIKES! Then I found out that it was for two day service and they only do the fast ship option. Ok, went to the Post and asked then and they said 15 days and it wouldn't cost both arms and a leg. So the quilt top heads off this week. Can't wait to see how it looks all done :-)

My oldest is off having his SKI week that that the school sponsors. I have heard from him twice, once to say they arrived and once to say he is having a good time. Next time I hear from him should be Friday to say they are leaving. BOYS!
